Defeated, Voldemort was and life continued on.

Harry, Ron and Hermione, returned to school for their final year, after a breif hiatus in which the castle was rebuilt - or at least until enough was rebuilt so that the castle was functional. Once funtional, the students were invited to return, and even a few first years were in attendance - so the sorting ceremony was slightly short, but thr feast was still just as delightful.

After that, years passed. Voldemort and those stressful eight years faded into memory and people began making new memories. Weddings happened, children were born.... and Hogwarts was finally completely rebuilt.

It's the year 2009, September 1 and there's a buzz among the platform.
